Crescent Development

williamsbcCrescent Development Group, LLC, was formed in 1997 by its principals, Scott Williams and Greg Jurick, to develop properties in Central Virginia.

Prior to forming Crescent Development, both principals worked for eight years for the largest builder and developer in Albemarle County.  During their employment with the builder/developer, Greg was project superintendent for various types of homes, including townhouses, condominiums, and luxury homes, and Scott was a project manager overseeing the land development operations of the company’s townhouse and single family communities.  Greg and Scott saw an opportunity to go out on their own to develop a valuable property in Albemarle’s urban ring, and in 1996, began planning their first community, Still Meadow.

Still Meadow is a 135-lot community developed by Crescent Development which was completed in the fall of 2004.  Crescent Development rezoned the property to accommodate the upscale development they planned, and began construction in 1998.  The principals were able to attract the area’s best builders to Still Meadow.  In addition to developing the site, Crescent Development was the general contractor for the community’s amenities, which includes a clubhouse, a pool and two tennis courts.  Still Meadow was planned in a way that reduced the environmental impact on the property by preserving the delicate areas, and planting a significant number of trees along the Rivanna River.

Crescent Development planned and developed The Glenn at Deer Lake Estates, a 39-lot community in the Ruckersville area of Greene County.  The Glenn was completed in 2010.

In 2004, Crescent Development expanded into the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  They identified the Fishersville area of Augusta County as a place to focus their attention.  Crescent Development is currently working on two projects in Fishersville: Myers Corner, and The Village on Goose Creek.

Myers Corner is a mixed-use community fronting on Route 250 across from Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center.  Myers Corner will include business development along with many types of residential building including multi-family, townhouses, carriage homes and single family homes.

Myers Corner was started in 2010, and is expected to be completed in ten years.  The Village on Goose Creek is located on Goose Creek road across from Augusta Health, the local hospital.  Development on The Village on Goose Creek has not started yet.  The Village on Goose Creek is currently planned for residential uses.
